The Unusual Event

One unusual event in my life was a strange dream. I was dreaming that I was in department store shopping for new swimming trunks. Suddenly, a fire alarm rang through the white tiled building as other shoppers and my family ran through towards the exits in a panicked tone. BANG! CRASH! CRUNCH! SNAP! As my gang and I just left the building, the ceiling and walls caved in onto the floor. EU! EU! EU! I could hear fire trucks approaching but I didn't stop to look for them, I kept running. A flaming brick soared above my head, hit a car's engine, and blew up in a deadly explosion near me. SNAP! SCRICH! CRICK! I screamed in pain as I tripped on the fire-grazed blackened pavement. The pain was so deep, I had to keep a conscious effort not to pass out. I peeled myself off the ground and kept stumbling. Suddenly, a wall of fire blocked my path as I skidded across the parking lot floor and turned around. I turned around and saw the most unusual thing I ever saw: a humanoid swirling in fire so hot I could feel its heat like it was right next to me. My vision suddenly went black as something hit me from behind.

I woke in a glass cave with a pond of green water and a golden door at the mouth of the cave. I immediately stood up and fell back down in pain. Somehow I had broken my ankle. As if on cue something entered the cave. It had massive purple wings, frosty white hair, blue eyes, and an orange bandanna around its mouth. His torso was blue just like the rest of his scaly body. His deep voice indicated he was a male as he said "Hello Earthling, you are on the planet Mecos." I answered him by saying "How far is that from Earth?'' "About 21 light-years" and with that he sprayed black gas in the air and I blacked out once more. Now I woke up in my room. Out the window I could see trees, snow, and other types of nature. Suddenly, my mom called out from a distance" Draco, breakfast is ready you have to hurry to catch the bus." when I had to go to school. I jumped out of bed and slumbered towards the kitchen. It was a normal Monday when I had to go to school.
Goodbye dreams! Goodmorning reality!

Jon Becondorf

                                  CHAPTER 1  INTRO

Hi I'm Jon-Jon Becondorf. I'm an eight grader. I'm four and a half  feet tall. I don't need glasses but the fact that I've invented glasses that has a laser pointer and reflection cameras, is true. I have many friends who I think are like me. And I think that they are like me because they are kind of strange in a cool way. Still I'm not sure about that. For some reason I can't remember anything of my past. It seems like that my memory has been wiped and then full of information about almost everything except my past. That's why the teachers never give me homework about my past. My writing teacher, Mrs.Purtil is a little mad at me that she has to change a whole semester of work. She had everything planned out, but the principal made her change it to other things.

Camping in WestHampton

Today is Friday. A week before I had a party were my parents had made arrangements with everybody about camping. Now I was waiting for the guests to come. Once they did my dad asked all about the directions. Since there wasn't enough space in my car, I got to sit in my Siraj,  friend's, car. We listened to Percy Jackson (sound recording) all the way there. This is where it was: http //koa.com/where/ma/21137/facilities/.http://koa.com/where/ma/21137/facilities/. When we got there my other friend, Sanjit, came with his DS to Siraj's car. We all got our DSes and connected it to his. Next my friends and I set up our tent and played more DS in there after taking a walk. Next we ate dinner, smores, and told ghost stories. When my friends and I got in our tent which we made for ourselves. We played more DS. Then we went to sleep. Suddenly in middle of the night Siraj woke up and said he was scared of the ghost stories. My dad was walking around and heard him so he took him to his parents tent. Next morning we ate breakfast and went to the playground. A little later we went to the pool with my friend. Next we took showers and then watched Harry Potter 6 from a laptop. Next we played DS and basketball . After that we went to a lake climbed rocks, and then pizza at a restaurant, came back played more DS and went to bed. Next morning I found out that Sanjit already left. I used the computer but it was too slow so I put it away, ate breakfast and searched for coins that can get you candy.
After that we packed and went to the lake again and climbed rocks. For some reason I'm always the experiment. I'm saying that because I had to be the person who had to climb up really steep rocks. Next we went to a mall eat, shopped there, and then went to another restaurant ate there and went home. THE END

Last Week

My most memorable day a week ago was the day at the beach with my family. The temperature was in the High 80s.The sun was shining brightly in the sky. When we first got there my mom had to go to the bathroom. That's is why I got to go into the water before everyone else did, while my dad waited. Once my mom came my parents set up the carpet. A little later I came back from the water and went to the carpet. Then my mom told me to look for my dad.Immediately I saw him and signaled him to come back. Once he came I set off for the water again. While I was diving waves I got some friends who seemed familiar. Next we found sand dollars and dug a big big hole in the sand. After that we cleaned up and left the beach.Since it was a long way back home we stopped dinner. But even then it was a long way to get to a civilized town which didn't sell just sea food.Once we got to a place we quickly ordered  food. After that we ate and we went back to the car. Half way we listened to music and half way we shared stories from Shakespeare. When I got home I played games from lego.com, and watched Harry Potter 6. PS I chose this day to write about because there was good whether and Plus who doesn't have fun on the beach.

The Profency Part Three

"What's after lunch Rex?" asked James." Art, Phis Edd, Double- "Stop making life worse" said James. "Due to poor weather circumstances school will close in 30 minutes and will be like that for the rest of the week "announced the speaker. Everybody rushed to there lockers got the important stuff out and raced to waiting buses or  went to their car to drive home. James, Maggie, and I got into the car and started to drive home but James just turned the car around at our street." Were are we going?" I asked . "You'll see when we get there" said James and Maggie handed me a flashlight and told me to put it away in my pocket. I'd did so but didn't understand why. "Look time is short, you are a son of the wind gods in Greek. We are taking you to a camp to train for combat and things that sort" said Maggie. "James, this taking too long can we shadow travel?" asked Maggie. "Sure"replied James. All around us turned black and then we were at a camp with a rectangle of cabins. "This is camp half blood mate"." I really am a son of hades and she is daughter of Zeus. Here we train to fight monsters. Do you still have that flashlight, if so click it, " said James. I clicked it and it grew into a sword made with bronze."Wow". "Plus you have brothers and sisters in your cabin. Its that one, you should go check it out". Once I entered the cabin I didn't wonder how they build it because the inside was clearly out cool stuff. My brothers and sisters were all looking at me like they knew me for ages. " Hey little bro I'll guild through the camp" said one of my brothers. He showed me the capture the flag area, arena, and other things."He even taught me how to to use my powers and wind gale. Tomorrow morning we had a game of capture the flag. I was the a little nervous because people could actually die but my brother told me that as long as I stayed close to him I'll be all right. Which reassured me. Once a horn blew the teams clashed together fighting like mad but the whole wind cabin flew over them making the wind push them through the skies. Some people noticed and shot arrows but everybody in the air dodged the arrows. Soon we located the flag swopped down reicved it got it back to our side and won the game.

The Profency Part Two

After I went to English class we had a lunch break. Maggie, James, and I weren't exactly popular so we were used to getting bullied alot. The bullies made us sit were they could spit food at us. Plus they made a newspaper looking like this at us: HELLO TO ALL THE NERDS IN THE SCHOOL. You guys should really get more wedgies from us. You know we are really kind not to stab you with a knife. And other sorts of junk insults with snide comments. But the good part is all the teachers are on our side and the help us by locating and destroying original copies so they couldn't copy them. They also have a secret club which they practice bulling. After lunch I go to the museum to learn about samurais. Here is the homework I handed in:amurai, (侍?) is the term for the military nobility of pre-industrial Japan. According to translator William Scott Wilson: "In Chinese, the character 侍 was originally a verb meaning to wait upon or accompany a person in the upper ranks of society, and this is also true of the original term in Japanese, saburau. In both countries the terms were nominalized to mean "those who serve in close attendance to the nobility," the pronunciation in Japanese changing to saburai." According to Wilson, an early reference to the word "samurai" appears in the Kokin Wakashū (905–914), the first imperial anthology of poems, completed in the first part of the ninth century.By the end of the 12th century, samurai became almost entirely synonymous with bushi (武士), and the word was closely associated with the middle and upper echelons of the warrior class. The samurai followed a set of rules that came to be known as Bushidō. While they numbered less than 10% of Japan's population[1] samurai teachings can still be found today in both everyday life and in martial arts such as Kendō, meaning the way of the sword.Following the Battle of Hakusukinoe against Tang China and Silla in 663 AD that led to Japanese retreat, Japan underwent widespread reform. One of the most important was that of the Taika Reform, issued by Prince Naka no Ōe (Emperor Tenji) in 646 AD. This edict allowed the Japanese aristocracy to adopt the Tang Dynasty political structure, bureaucracy, culture, religion, and philosophy.[2] As part of the Taihō Code, of 702 AD, and the later Yōrō Code,[3] the population was required to report regularly for census, which was used as a precursor for national conscription. With an understanding of how the population was distributed, Emperor Mommu introduced the law whereby 1 in 3–4 adult males were drafted into the national military. These soldiers were required to supply their own weapons, and in return were exempted from duties and taxes.[2] This was one of the first attempts by the Imperial government to form an organized army modeled after the Chinese system. It was called gundan-sei (軍団制) by later historians and is believed to have been short-lived.[citation needed]

The Profency Part One

Intro: Hi I'm Rex an ordinary teenage guy who is really good at fencing, archery , and other outdoor activities like climbing trees. I lived most of my life outside of USA until now. I now go to high school with my friends Maggie and James and live with my uncle and cousin James. I also work in the museum in our school.

Chapter 1

English class has always been difficult for me because I traveled all over the world learning almost all the languges everywhere I went. Today we were supposed to hand in a report on the movie Avatar The Last Airbender. Here is the report I handed in :The movie was fair. Big sigh. Where do I start? Well let's start at the sticking point that everyone has had with this movie. In case you missed it, a lot of noise has been made because Noah Ringer (Aang), Nicola Petlz (Katara) and Jackson Rathbone (Sokka) are White actors cast in the roles of Inuit and Asian characters. While I didn't like the fact that they white washed 3 of the main characters it was not that much of a distraction, especially once they left the Southern Water Nation. The biggest problem with these actors is that they sucked. I found the mispronunciation of Aang, Sokka and Iroh (mispronounced as Ong, Sukka and Earro respectively) unbelievably distracting, especially as the whispers in the theater acknowledged the mispronunciation several times. This was the equivalent of calling Bruce Wayne Brice Wong. In addition, his version of the material left no time for character building. Without character building how do we understand why they care for each other or get to the point where we care about the characters? The amazing martial arts (Tai Chi, Northern Shaolin, Hung Gar and Ba Gua Zhang) that the element bending of each nation is based on was weak and rare. Shyamalan decided that the firebenders actually needed fire to be present for them to fire bend then changed his mind in the end. Aang's airbending left much to be desired. Katara didn't really need to learn waterbending, but still wasn't good at it. And while they did include Zuko as the Blue Spirit, the amazing firebending that he did in the series was left wanting (they did show him sparing and Dev Patel was good). Not to mention the imprisoned earthbenders that made no attempt to escape despite being surrounded by earth instead of metal. It also would have been nice to see more of Damon Gupton (Master Gyatso) but there wasn't time for that either. 'The Last Airbender' definitely has an extremely diverse cast but once again the 3 White main characters spoiled. I got an A on it but I'm not sure how?

Some Physics Facts.

Physics is a science of measurement. Standard units of measurements are needed so that every body is using the same method. Mass, length, time and temperature are the basic units. The metric system is the SI system. In SI length is metres, mass is kilograms, time is seconds and temperature is kelvin. Length is the distance between two points. Mass is the amount contained in a body. A gap between two events is time. Degree of hot or cold is temperature. Estimates are not reliable. That's why measurments are needed.

Magic

In time before time lived a great sorcerer called Pan. He fairly ruled his kingdom of Del. His people said that he had a perfect personality. The people were even thinking to make him a palace of gold as a gift. But he kindly refused and said that they should use that energy to help people in need. Though everybody in his kingdom liked his company the neighboring kingdoms had other plans to over through Pan. So they held a meeting to destroy Pan. At the meeting.............K1-We don't have enough forces to attack Del directly. We must destroy it by convincing that Pan is wicked sorcerer who cursed us into complete darkness for 20 years just for not walking with him. Then we will have to tell them that he has a wicked past that leads him to many miseries. K3-Yes we do that but what about him he can just vaporize people in an instant. K2- We can poison him. K4-But he can heal himself or remove the poison and we won't even know. K4-Lets build him a mansion with death traps he goes in and gets himself killed. And so the kings still can't find a way to destroy Del's perfectness even today.

As an ant I would see the world as a labyrinth. I'm saying that because wherever I go, there always is someone there to kill me. Here is my dying schedule: Monday, go to New York. Today I got a car ride to NY city where I almost died. Here is how it went. First a guy picked me up  put me in his hot dog and would have ate me if I hadn't  hopped on to his mustache jumped of waited in the car that brought me here until they drove me home. Tuesday, back at home. Now that I'm back at home I do chores every day which are extremly dangerous. What I have to do is lead a bunch of ants into a ant trap not get caught and survive home.     Wednesday, welcome to Hawaii. I got stuck on a boat went to Hawaii get attacked by mutans and come back on starfish. Trip to soccer city. A crazy sicentist shipped me of to soccer city to be examaned . Just then a rat freed me, took me on his back and ran for the exits. Though alarms went off we escaped from the lab. We kept running but humans were catching up. They were coming from all direction and surrounding us. We hid in a hole but the people smoked us out. they caught the rat on the other side but I escaped. There was a lake nearby so the animals in the water took me home.

My Favorite Sport

My favorite sport is soccer. I enjoy playing this sport because I'm successful at it. For example I made to the travel team this year. I also play for the Triple Tigers for five years now. Let me explain the rules to you. Oh and the rules are  a bit different. You must stay in your suits at all times. Only osmosian can be keepers. To referee you must be an oakloar. If player is damaged when not in use of ball a penalty is required. Ball must be in air to be played. Now you might be thinking that's not alot of rules. Your right it isn't, that's why soccer is rough. Now let me explain how the game works. First the referee throws the ball into the air. Who ever gets it first takes the ball and tries to score.

The History Of Soccer:
Soccer started when a bored king started to kick things around. That evolved to kicking balls around. Then people noticed and made it an international game.

Glossary.

word: osmosian
meaning:A being that can absorb energy.

word:oakloar
meaning:A being that can temporarily paralize.

About The Ball
The ball is a metal ball that is highly exlosive.
For example one blew up in my neighborhood yesterday.

A Thrilling Sledding Experience.....

My thrilling sledding experience was at Nara Park. It started as Jason pushing head first on my circular sled. Then Jason pushed me again and I rushed down a steep hill with my sled. Jason had prepared a ramp on the same track. That's why I got thrown into the air landed on a plant and got tangled in it. Once I untangled myself I started to walk up the hill. Just then I tripped over my slide and started to slide down the hill again. As I slid down I got stuck in the same plant. But this time it was the ice that made me fall. At the moment I was heading head first into a snow bank. I would have crashed if I didn't do a 180 degree turn and smashed the bank apart. It slowed me down so I could stop and get up. Now I got into a snowball fight against Jason. P.S I won the fight.

Pollen

Pollen is known as a powder with pollen grains. These pollen grains make sperm cells that come from seed plants. The grains have a firm coat that protects these sperm cells when they move between the pistil of one flower and another. All pollen grains have a certain vegetative cells that contain nucleuses that can produce new pollen tubes. These pollen tubes are surrounded by a wall called a cellulose cell and a thick outer sporopollenin wall. Pollen particles and grains can come in all sizes, shapes, and species. As a flower develops, groups of sporogenous cells start to form in the pollen sac. Tree pollen is a popular type of pollen that causes many allergies for people.

Stray cats

As a stray cat I would get chased by hobos all day or if I don't get chased I would scratch myself and hunt birds. I sleep at a bus stop that has been abandoned for many years. In the morning, I get up at dawn and hunt. Oh and about my appearance, I am all leaf green with dark brown eyes. Since the age of 16 some sort of crest started to grow on my joints like armor. That is why I have become silver now. More strange things happened since then. I mean things like walking on two legs and talking in English and Bengali. Its crazy but cool to write and have an army of hobos. Okay I know that the last sentence doesn't fit in but it still makes you feel like a millionaire.

                                    19 YEARS LATER
Now I'm a millionaire, dream came true. I got the money with my new powers. The power works like this, I snap my fingers and I get what ever I want. However the point is that I'm not a stray cat, I'm a rich human.

Trees Are Important Because.....................

Trees are important because the following reasons:
1. Trees Produce Oxygen
Let's face it, we could not exist as we do if there were no trees. A mature leafy tree produces as much oxygen in a season as 10 people inhale in a year. What many people don't realize is the forest also acts as a giant filter that cleans the air we breath.
2. Trees Clean the Soil
The term phytoremediation is a fancy word for the absorption of dangerous chemicals and other pollutants that have entered the soil. Trees can either store harmful pollutants or actually change the pollutant into less harmful forms. Trees filter sewage and farm chemicals, reduce the effects of animal wastes, clean roadside spills and clean water runoff into streams.
3. Trees Control Noise Pollution
Trees muffle urban noise almost as effectively as stone walls. Trees, planted at strategic points in a neighborhood or around your house, can abate major noises from freeways and airports.
4. Trees Slow Storm Water Runoff
Flash flooding can be dramatically reduced by a forest or by planting trees. One Colorado blue spruce, either planted or growing wild, can intercept more than 1000 gallons of water annually when fully grown. Underground water-holding aquifers are recharged with this slowing down of water runoff.
5. Trees Are Carbon Sinks
To produce its food, a tree absorbs and locks away carbon dioxide in the wood, roots and leaves. Carbon dioxide is a global warming suspect. A forest is a carbon storage area or a "sink" that can lock up as much carbon as it produces. This locking-up process "stores" carbon as wood and not as an available "greenhouse" gas.
6. Trees Clean the Air
Trees help cleanse the air by intercepting airborne particles, reducing heat, and absorbing such pollutants as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide. Trees remove this air pollution by lowering air temperature, through respiration, and by retaining particulates.
7. Trees Shade and Cool
Shade resulting in cooling is what a tree is best known for. Shade from trees reduces the need for air conditioning in summer. In winter, trees break the force of winter winds, lowering heating costs. Studies have shown that parts of cities without cooling shade from trees can literally be "heat islands" with temperatures as much as 12 degrees Fahrenheit higher than surrounding areas.
8. Trees Act as Windbreaks
During windy and cold seasons, trees located on the windward side act as windbreaks. A windbreak can lower home heating bills up to 30% and have a significant effect on reducing snow drifts. A reduction in wind can also reduce the drying effect on soil and vegetation behind the windbreak and help keep precious topsoil in place.
9. Trees Fight Soil Erosion
Erosion control has always started with tree and grass planting projects. Tree roots bind the soil and their leaves break the force of wind and rain on soil. Trees fight soil erosion, conserve rainwater and reduce water runoff and sediment deposit after storms.
10. Trees Increase Property Values
Real estate values increase when trees beautify a property or neighborhood. Trees can increase the property value of your home by 15% or more.

What's not to love about trees?

Starting At Third

When I first started swimming I was six months old. Then I hated going into the water. A few years ago I still hated a swimming pool but most of all the ocean. Now I have no fear for both and I rather stay in the water.
Now I also get awards for swimming. When I first got on to the AB swim team I didn't do well. But from then I've improved alot. For example I just won a third place for 50 yards on my first meet this season. I could have gotten 1st place if I did the following things correctly, but unfortunately I couldn't. One swim in a strait line. Two make a faster flip turn. These mistakes costed me 5 seconds.Even though I didn't get 2nd or1st ribbon, I got first in my heat. Anyway my total swim time was 54.88 seconds. Still there is room for plenty of imrovment. My next target is 1st place. My hope is gaining because I'm really good at breaststroke and that is the next event. I also have skill for backstroke, the event after breaststroke.

                    WISH ME GOOD LUCK!

Holidays That I Enjoy..........

Holidays I enjoy are usually celebrated from September-December, though there are a few holidays that enjoy in summer and other parts of winter.
September: There is only one holiday in September that I enjoy. Labor Day I enjoy this holiday because I have a work-free. I don't have to do anything  about work.
October: I enjoy Halloween because its fun to wear nitro cloaking devices and scare people with electronic zombies. I also like how each year a crowd of trick or treaters try to scare me with pop-ups but never do.
November: I enjoy Presidents Day due to no work but most of all my, birthday. I celebrate it with a big party at my biggest mansion. A five star hotel that I own.
December: This whole month is a holiday I enjoy because I get this whole month off from work. Plus I get free membership for a golf club.
February: I enjoy Valentines day due to all the presents that comes to me. And its nice to use some money on other people.
March: I enjoy Easter because there are really good sales in this time.
May: I enjoy Memorial Day because it is enjoyable to watch the parade.
July: I used to enjoy Independence Day since I had lunch with the emperor but now the new emperor doesn't even know me, so i can't have lunch with him.
I have many other holidays that I enjoy but they wouldn't mean a thing to you, so I decided not to mention them. If you are wondering why I didn't explain much about the holidays, well its classified information.

That Made My Blood Boil................

That made my my blood boil has two meanings. The first one is some kind of disease that makes your blood actually boil. This is the common way of someone saying that made my blood boil. The other meaning means that you get enraged. For example I wrote 8 reasons that makes my blood boil. Reason1 : One thing that makes my blood boil is the fact that the government has hidden from us. The truth that aliens are real and that its obvious. There are millions of people with me on the the last sentence I wrote. My neighbors and I started a project that will bring proof that aliens are real. I now this stuff because I found a copy of it on the Internet with my Toshiba. Reason2: MBB when ISP Decides that the want to throttle my high speed Internet. Reason 3: MBB when saran wrap sticks to each other. Reason4: MBB when some one uses my other laptop (not Toshiba) there are a thousand pop-ups installed when I get it back. Reason5: MBB when I get stuck in traffic because road construction.Reason6: MBB when my computer starts to restart my computer even if I deny it to. Reason7: MBB when my computer gets a virus. Reason8: MBB when I lose a insulting contest.
Please post what  makes MBB on the coment board.

An Invention That I value Is ..........................................

An invention that I value is my TOSHIBA laptop. It is all black with a bit of silver. I value this because I use this invention almost everyday. I use my laptop to do many things such as blogging, entertainment, researching, etc. This is a very useful tool for me because if I need to know a spelling of a word all I have to do is search it up. It is like a dictionary except faster. More reasons why I value my laptop. It comes with a free Internet connection that can access information all around the universe. It also is so fast that even the best of Verizon networks isn't this fast. You also can get a translator that will speak back to you. I need that for interview's with foreign people. There is a kind of icon that will let you download any kind of video, game, or information too. Even classified military info. Another good thing about this laptop is that it's security is phenomenal. Since this is the most important  laptop it cannot be traveled with. That's why you can't ever see this laptop. You might have seen laptops similar to this but non is quite as useful as this one.
